We verify that every professional meets strict standards before joining our platform. Requirements vary by trade and service type to ensure appropriate expertise.

Identity Verification

Professionals share proof of identity and business registration, allowing us to verify their identity and confirm they're registered to operate in Finland as a business or sole trader.

Insurance & Licensing

Liability insurance required. Trade-specific licenses verified for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other regulated services.

How do you calculate the 1–5 score?
We look at five key performance factors—communication, timeliness, quality, sticking to the agreed scope, and aftercare. The result is a score that reflects consistent, real-world performance, not just one great (or terrible) job.
Do cheaper quotes get higher ratings?
Nope. We don't reward the lowest price. Ratings are based on value for the job agreed, not who can offer the cheapest quote. A great rating comes from delivering what was promised, at the standard expected.
What happens if a pro's insurance expires?

If insurance runs out or can't be verified:

  • The pro gets a notification
  • Their profile may be temporarily hidden until everything is updated

This keeps the platform safe and reliable for everyone.

How do disputes work?

If something goes wrong, we're here to help:

  • We acknowledge the issue within 3 business days
  • Share a plan within 10 days (up to 15 days for more complex cases)
  • Anything serious—like safety risks—gets immediate attention

We aim for fair, fast resolutions that respect both sides.

Can I stay anonymous when leaving a review?
Yes. You can choose to appear as First Name + Initial or "Verified Customer." We verify everything behind the scenes, so you can be honest without sharing your full identity.
Do you handle payments?
Usually, no. Payments are made directly between you and the pro. Unless a project specifically says otherwise, we're not the merchant of record. Our role is simply to connect, verify, and support.
How do you vet the pros on your platform?
We check identity, insurance, certifications, trading history, and references before anyone goes live. If something looks off or doesn't check out, they don't get approved—simple as that.
How often are pros re-verified?
Most documents are reviewed at least once a year, but some items—like insurance—are monitored continuously. If something expires, we follow up right away.
Can pros pay to boost their ratings or get better placement?
No. Ratings can't be bought, edited, or influenced. The only way to rise in the rankings is to consistently deliver great service.
What if I have a bad experience with a top-rated pro?
Let us know. One bad job won't tank a rating by itself, but repeated issues definitely will. We investigate and, if needed, adjust scores, pause profiles, or remove the pro entirely. Your feedback helps keep the system fair.
Do you ever remove reviews?
Only if they break our guidelines—things like spam, fraud, hate speech, or content not related to the job. We don't hide verified negative reviews.
Do you offer any guarantees or protections?

We don't guarantee the work directly, but we do provide:

  • Thorough vetting

Some projects may offer extra protections when stated.

How do service provider fees work on FindaPro.fi?

Service providers only pay a 4.5% fee on jobs completed through FindaPro.fi.

  • No work, no fee: If a lead doesn't turn into a job, the provider pays nothing.
  • No hidden or extra fees: There are no subscription costs, promotional fees, or options to "boost" listings—just a straightforward 4.5% of the job value.
  • Materials excluded: The fee applies only to the service itself, not to any materials or products used.

Can I hire a pro outside the platform once we connect?
Yes—unless a project specifies otherwise, you're free to communicate and transact as you choose. We encourage staying on-platform for tracking, support, and documented communication.
